As accusations and counter-accusations continue to fly between Made Men Music Group (Triple MG) boss, Ubi Franklin, and his former partner, Iyanya, who is now with Mavin Records, Iyanya has denied that he sold his shares to the Triple MG company to Ubi Franklin.

The artist made the vehement denial during an interview with Daddy Freeze of Cool FM. When asked how much he made when he sold the shares to Ubi Franklin, Iyanya replies:

“I did not sell the way he is making it look, no. I let it go, I told him to take.” The conversation continues:

Freeze: “It’s not like he bought you off?

Iyanya: “He didn’t give me a dime for my shares.”

Freeze: “He didn’t give you anything?

Iyanya: “I didn’t want either.”

To which Freeze exclaimed in disbelief “hey” while Iyanya continues:

All I needed at that time was (to be) happy. Let me just be happy.

Well, we were not there when all these things went down.  The only thing we can say for certain based on what both men said was that there was some transfer of shares between Iyanya and Ubi Franklin. We can only speculate on the terms of that transfer. As the saying goes, there’s Iyanya truth, Ubi Franklin’s truth and the truth.
