If you want to keep your batteries fresher and full of juice for a longer time, bung them in the hostel fridge with your food.

This is one of the most unconventional and unusual travel hacks you can think of. However, it may interest you to know that most rechargeable batteries retain 90% of their full charge when kept in cold temperatures, meaning you don’t need to charge them as often. This means that cold batteries hold their charge or lasts longer than ones stored under a room temperature.

Batteries last longer when store in a frigde

We all know that it can be so frustrating wanting to take pictures of exciting things, places, events, persons, or even use it for a different purpose altogether, and you find out your battery percentage is low meanwhile in your mind it is charge already. Just save yourself some pain and store those batteries alongside your food, candies, drinks, etc,  inside your refrigerator or any other cold place.
