Sometimes, some things are just inexplicable! And you just have to accept them for what they are.
And one of those things can be something as mundane as a trending hashtag on Twitter.
So, this morning, Wednesday, 16th October 2019, the hashtag #toto is trending at number 4 on Twitter Nigeria trends.
The thing is that no one seems to know why the hashtag is trending. But trust the Nigerian folks on Twitter to just flow with and have fun. Many of them have jumped in on the hashtag to ask why it’s trending, and thereby aggrandising the trend, whether by design or not. Just as Twitter user Daddy’s last born (@Ilehleo2) explains:

And in case if you’re wondering what ‘toto’ is, it’s pidgin slang for v*gina.
Who knows, maybe someone woke up this morning with a hard-on or something. You know, it’s not inconceivable and certainly nothing to be ashamed of. At least, they know it’s working. Just kidding.
