Tiger Woods’ first child was born on 18 June 2007, not long after the year’s edition of the US Open. She was born just over a year after her grandfather, Earl Woods, died. According to Tiger, Sam’s birth was a little tedious. He revealed this while sharing details of her birth in a press conference. “It wasn’t life threatening, but she (Sam’s mother) was having some problems and needed to be hospitalized… It wasn’t an easy job,” he explained. “It wasn’t easy since I was so anxious to get there,” the golfer added.
