The infamous fight between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B at New York Fashion Week could have been caused by a collaboration with Future.
According to Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked, Cardi B had to feature Migos on the song Drip, off her Invasion of Privacy album because Future suddenly became unavailable.
Nicki Minaj reportedly told Future to decline an appearance on Cardi’s song or be pulled from her tour.
“Future was [originally] on the track with Cardi. Migos jumped on because Future had to jump off,” he disclosed.
Future was scheduled to co-headline Nicki’s tour NICKIHNDRXX but Nicki would reportedly pull him from the tour if he did the song with Cardi.
Later on Monday night, a leaked version of Future’s verse appeared on Twitter. Recall that after the fight, Cardi B went on Instagram to accuse Nicki of trying to stop people from working with her.
