What if I told you that Thanos almost didn’t look like he did in the famous film? In an early concept design shared on Instagram by Marvel Studio hired artist Jerad Marantz, Thanos is seen in a much different outfit – and skin, really.
Instead of his trademark orange colour, Thanos is purple in the early concept. The infinity gauntlet on which the infinity stones rest also has a shiny quality to it which obviously didn’t make the cut for the film. His overall outfit brings the black panther costume to mind, bearing a close resemblance to T’Challa’s suit.
