The Weeknd and his producer, Daft Punk, have been sued by a musician who claims he stole her song.

According to TMZ, the musician goes by the name Yasminah and claims that her song Hooyo was stolen for the blueprint of the song Starboy.

In the court documents obtained by TMZ, Yasminah claimed that the similarities between her song Hooyo which she co-wrote in 2009 and Starboy released in 2016 were uncanny. The songs have the same hook as well as a similar tempo.

She is requesting five million dollars in compensation. She also says her producers settled for an undisclosed amount but she didn’t get a cut.
