The recent Thailand cave rescue will be adapted into a movie with a budget of $30 - $60 million.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story will become a movie under Pure Flix Entertainment, which is the faith-based production company behind the movie, “God’s Not Dead”.

Michael Scott, the CEO and co-founder of Pure Flix Entertainment who lives part-time in Thailand and also witnessed the rescue first-hand says: “The bravery and heroism I’ve witnessed is incredibly inspiring. So, yes, this will be a movie for us. It’s not necessary to make this a Christian film, just an inspirational one.”

The producer said he will be lining up screenwriters in the next few weeks and the film will be co-produced by Adam Smith of Kaos Entertainment.
