The origin of plane crash survivor Kechi Okwuchi's singing voice would surprise you [video]

One of the two survivors of the Sosoliso plane crash, Kechi Okwuchi has spoken often of her resolution after she woke up. 

When Kechi woke up in the hospital and found out she was one of only two girls who survived the terrible car crash, she made a commitment to herself – “(I decided that) I would spend my life living as fully as possible. That was the best way for me to keep the memories of those that passed away alive.”

It is almost 15 years later and it is safe to say that Kechi has done that with her music and with her words of inspiration that she periodically shares with the world.

Kechi, who was a finalist on the talent show, ‘America’s Got Talent’ was featured on Shake My Beauty and she discussed a wide range of topics.

She spoke about growing up in Lagos, her early perceptions of beauty and where she is in her life right now. She also told the beautiful story of how she developed the singing voice that she is so widely known for now.
