#Techfacts: Here's how the Mozilla logo was formed

Everyone is familiar with Mozilla, the popular browser that’s giving the Google chrome browser a run for its money.

The logo is famously a red fox curled around the globe, but is it really a fox?

The name Firefox literally means Red Panda. The animal the browser is named after (the firefox) is a cross between a Raccoon and a Panda and is related to neither.

This is the creature on the famous Firefox logo. The creator, Jon Hicks, did not want to deviate too much from the original muse but instead, he made it look like the name: a fox on fire.
