Super model, Gigi Hadid returns to work two months after childbirth

Two months after welcoming a daughter with singer Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid has returned to working as a fulltime model.

In September 2020, Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Zayn Malik announced the birth of their daughter. After the announcement, Hadid went on maternity leave taking time off her modeling work.

She had confirmed that she was pregnant in April 2020, a few days after speculations and rumours. Malik, a former member of One Direction, had been beside himself with joy when their daughter arrived.

He went on Twitter to write; “Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful to try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

Now that she is returning to work, Gigi Hadid wants the world to know that she will not stop being in charge of her daughter’s care. She even mentioned on her Instagram Stories; “Would say back 2 work but being a mumma is a job like no otherrr. BACK IN THE OFFICE.”

Since giving birth, the couple have not announced the name of their daughter.
