Super Eagles Coach caught taking bribe on camera

An investigation conducted by undercover Ghanaian reporter Anas Aremayaw has shown Super Eagles coach, Salisu Yusuf accepting a cash gift of N360, 000 ($1000).

Yusuf is in charge of the Super Eagles’ home-based side and an assistant to Gernot Rohr for the Super Eagles.

Reporters posing as football agents for some players approached Yusuf in September 2017 for a conversation about players’ selection as they wanted two of their players to be selected for the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The reporters then gave him the sum of $1000 claiming that he would also get 15% of the players’ contracts if they were eventually selected by a foreign side.
The two players were eventually selected for CHAN 2018 as he had promised in the video made public by BBC Africa eye.
