Sterling bank apologises for post shading competitors

Sterling bank has now apologised for an advertisement they posted on social media which appeared to be shading their competitors.

Over the weekend, there was an uproar on social media after Sterling bank posted a hilarious ad which appeared to shade First bank, GTBank, Access bank and Union bank.

The banks took it in stride, offering hilarious replies which left some users excited and others disinterested. GTBank didn’t join in.

Few days after, Sterling bank has now issued an apology and deleted the post from their social media pages. In the picture, their customer does land on the moon.

Rumour has it that a certain bank reported the matter to CBN, but who listens to rumours anyways. See their apology below.
