Security Beefed Up At Brazilian Grand Prix.

The Brazilian Grand Prix slated for Friday night suffered a security breach after Gunmen held up a minibus that contained equipments for the Mercedes Company and carted away implements that were needed for the race, in that same night, FIA officials were also halted by the Gunmen and threatened. The event will go on but there will be an increase in security operatives on the track.

African Footballer Of the Year Shortlist Announced.

The award for the BBC African player of the year is now open for votes as five players across the continent were announced, each of the shortlisted players play in Europe top flight leagues and they are: Naby Keita (RB Leipzig), Sadio Mane (Liverpool), Mohammad Salah (Liverpool), Victor Moses (Chelsea) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Dortmund).

The premier league media has been buzzing after Torres revealed that he is not content with his role at Atletico Madrid and will be likely swept up by either Newcastle or Southampton.

Daniel Jacobs Beats Luis Arias In New York.

The middleweight boxer was handed the win in a match in New York. It took the 11^th round for the referee to decide that the match was Daniel’s despite the fact that he had dominated most of the fight but Arias kept up.

Morocco Qualifies For World Cup.

Despite Ivory Coast hosting a bunch of stars against Morocco’s mostly ‘unknown soldiers’, they could not thump them, as Morocco beat them 2-0 to qualify for the World Cup at their expense.
