Spoiler alert for Game of Thrones lovers

Beyond the chemistry on screen, the cast and staff of the award-winning series are working hard to ensure a perfect and emotional ending.

According to  Hollywood Reporter, Game of Thrones staff have united to fight a common enemy in a meticulous last season play. Emilia Clarke (Khaleesi) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) have endured a 10-month shoot to produce the 8th season with only 6 episodes.

“Camera checks take longer, costumes are a bit better, hair and makeup a bit sharper. Every choice, every conversation, every attitude, has this air of ‘this is it.’ Everything feels more intense,” Clarke opens up to EW.

Co-executive producer Bryan Cogman also told Entertainment Weekly (EW) that the final scenes will capture the emotion anticipated.

“It’s about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death.

“It’s an incredibly emotional haunting bittersweet final season and I think it honours very much what author George R.R. Martin set out to do which is flipping this kind of story on its head.”
