Sidomex Universal's Alter Ego wins big at 2018 AMVCA!

Sidomex Universal’s Multi-award winning movie, Alter Ego was nominated in ten categories including nominations for the Best Overall movie, Best Movie West Africa among others.

The night ended on a high note as Alter Ego took home two awards with star actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde winning the award for best actress for her spellbinding performance and Patrick Nnamani, Koye O and Moses Inwang taking home the award for best writer.

Fans were quite excited to see Omotola take home the award for best actress.

Alter Ego is an engrossing and educating movie about Ada Igwe (played by Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde), a respected and feared human rights lawyer by day with a passion for carnal pleasures. Ada will stop at nothing to see sex offenders brought to justice, even though she has her own demons.

Alter Ego also stars Wale Ojo, Jide Kosoko, Victor Olaotan, Sexy Steel, Kunle Remi, Elvina Ibru, Bobby Obodo, Gregory Ojefua and Abbey Abuede. It was directed by Moses Inwang.

Alter Ego has won several awards both at home and Internationally including Best International Film at the People’s Film Festival which was held in New York, the prestigious Special Jury Award for Outstanding Film which was held in Lagos. The movie also earned Omotola the best actress award at the Nollywood Travel Film Festival in Toronto.
