Over the weekend, Seun posted the album cover of his album with the words: ” For your consideration! 61st Grammy award. Best world music album.” The afrobeat singer went on to caption the picture: “All my Grammy voting friends. Y’all know the vibes #getthesax.”
Black Times which was released in March 2018 is Seun’s 5th album. The album which was greatly accepted debuted at #8 in the Billboard world music chart.
Seun is not the first of the Kuti family to dream of a Grammy award. His brother, Femi Kuti, has been nominated 4 times in this category but has not yet won it.
