According to reports by TMZ, her first hospital visit was in the last week of September at the singer’s California home. She was reportedly emotional over an alarmingly low white blood cell count in the wake of her kidney transplant.
A family member drove her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and she was released days later but had to be re-admitted late last week because her low blood cell count persisted which took its toll on her emotions.
Selena experienced an emotional breakdown when she was not allowed to leave the facility. She is currently at an East Coast psychiatric facility and is receiving dialectical behaviour therapy
