Marvel Studios announced ten films that are coming to the MCU between 2021 and 2023, including “Black Widow”, “Shang-Chi”, “Eternals”, and more in a new trailer-cum-short-film on Monday, 3 May 2021.
These films will be part of what the company calls Phase 4, and will continue the fictional universe’ franchise. In the video, titled “Marvel Studios Celebrates The Movies”, the comic-book filmmakers went all out with an emotionally charged piece of art.
The video displays clips from “Dr Strange”, “Ant-Man”, Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Captain Marvel”, “Black Panther” and the iconic cinema crowd reaction to Captain America’s ‘Avengers, assemble!’ scene in “Avengers: Endgame”. Then, on the back of a pre-recorded Stan Lee’s voice over, it introduces all of its coming films.
Here is a list of all Marvel Studios coming superhero films announced, with release dates:
Black Widow – 9 July 2021
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – 3 September 2021
Eternals – 5 November 2021
Spider-Man: No Way Home – 17 December 2021
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – 25 March 2022
Thor: Love and Thunder – 6 May 2022
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – 8 July 2022
The Marvels – 11 November 2022
Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania – 17 February 2023
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 – 5 May 2023
Marvel Studios teases Fantastic Four
Additionally, it teased the next Fantastic Four film by using its trademark “4” to symbolise the Phase 4 statement. Another way to interpret this is that this indicates the fourth instalment after the 2005, 2007 and 2015 releases. For now, Marvel has not confirmed when the next Fantastic Four film will hit the cinemas, but with the packed lineup, it is likely to get a late 2023 release date.

Of the coming films, we have only seen the official teaser and two trailers for “Black Widow”, and the official teaser for “Shang-Chi”. While we await the teaser and trailer for “Eternals“, we have some juicy details about the film.
Angelina Jolie returns to action film acting with Marvel’s “Eternals”
First, Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao is at the helm of affairs and the film also serves as Angelina Jolie’s return to action film acting after she last surfaced in “Salt” in 2010 (although, “Those Who Wish Me Dead”, also featuring her, will be released first). Additionally, Game of Thrones actors Richard Madden (Rob Stark) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow), also feature in lead roles in “Eternals”. The array of stars do not stop here as the cast also includes: Salma Hayek, Don Lee (Train to Busan), Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley TV series), Lauren Ridloff (Walking Dead TV series), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta TV series), and more.
As for “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, asides from the regular cast of Holland, Zendaya, Tomei and Batalon, J. B. Smoove and Jamie Foxx are confirmed as part of the cast. Benedict Cumberbatch’s inclusion also means that the Doctor Strange character will feature as well.
Details about the other films are not yet available, but be sure that when they are we will be there to give you the latest.
