He narrated the story of how a bus conductor spotted him with his guitar in the bus and encouraged him to play.

Upon telling the man that he would pay, he returned his transport fare and Sydney proceeded to perform for the passengers, with some of them singing along.

He said no problem and gave me my money back (when a conductor in Lagos returns your money, you know shit is real). Stunned, I obliged him and got my guitar out of the bag and started playing (luckily it was a spacious bus with empty seats beside me, so it wasn't inconvenient).

I got to experience what its like playing music for strangers in a quite unusual setting, and watching them appreciate and participate in it, that gratification was surreal.
The last passenger to alight even collected my number to chat me up and connect with me on social media.
