According to The Hollywood Reporter, it’s now been confirmed that director and writer, Ryan Coogler, will be returning. There is a tentative plan to start shooting the sequel in late 2019 or early 2020.
So far, we have no clue what the sequel will be about, or who will be in it, but what we know is that in Avengers 3 there was a war, which ended in T’Challa disintegrating into dust at the snap of Thanos’ fingers.
Coogler is also developing the drama, Wrong Answer, with his frequent collaborator Michael B. Jordan. He is also producing LeBron James’ Space Jam sequel and acts in the same capacity on the upcoming Creed 2.
