Chievo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino has thanked Ronaldo for his message of support via social media, referring to the Juventus man as a legend.
The two were involved in a collision that left the goalkeeper with a broken nose, whiplash, and a bruised shoulder.
The accident occurred during Chievo’s 3-2 loss to Juventus and forced the keeper to be carried out on a stretcher.
Sorrentino’s partner Sara Ruggeri was unhappy with Ronaldo saying that she “cannot admire this champion” following the clash.
The Veteran goalie, however, thanked Ronaldo in a post on Twitter:
“I received a message of closeness and prompt recovery from Cristiano Ronaldo. Thank you legend!”
