The rapper turned herself in to the police on Wednesday, accompanied by her attorney. She’s been arrested for misdemeanour assault, according to TMZ.
Brittney Taylor claimed Remy punched her in the right eye while backstage during the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza near Union Square on 16 April.
As police were investigating the incident, Taylor prepared to file a civil suit against Remy and requested that the police preserve all evidence of the alleged assault, including surveillance footage.
