Rapper Yelawolf departs from Eminem’s Shady records

American rapper Michael Wayne Atha popularly known as Yelawolf has announced his departure from Eminem’s record label - Shady Records.

Yelawolf made the announcement on stage while performing one of his biggest hits Love Story on stage in Colorado. The 38-year-old rapper shared that his forthcoming album, Trunk Muzik 3, due in September will be the last under Eminem’s imprint.

Trunk Muzik 3 is my last album on Shady Records. Five fuc*in albums on Shady Records. I feel blessed for that. Make some noise for Marshall Mathers,” Yelawolf said from the stage.
