Qatar 2022 World cup qualifiers released; Here's who Nigeria will face in group round

As the world waits for the 2022 World cup to begin, arrangements are already being made to decide the countries that will make it to the main stage.

The full draw for the qualifying round has been released, and 40 African countries have been grouped into 10 groups each to determine which of them will make it to the world cup.

Nigeria will face Cape Verde, Central African Republic, and Liberia in their group.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles are currently the 34th best football team in the world, and the third-best in Africa behind Senegal and Tunisia who are 20th and 29th in the world, respectively.

Group A: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Niger, Djibouti

Group B: Tunisia, Zambia, Mauritania, Equatorial Guinea

Group C: Nigeria, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Liberia

Group E: Mali, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda
