An unidentified Nigerian policeman today allegedly shot dead a commercial bus driver over squabbles for N50.

Online reports we’re monitoring says the victim had refused to give a N50 extortion money to some police officers after they stopped him at a roadblock. The deceased it was gathered was on his way to Ekiti State from Kwara state when his bus was stopped at a roadblock mounted by the policemen at Ayegbaju-Ifaki road, Oye Ekiti. But when one of the policemen demanded N50 from him, he refused and drove off.
