Peter Okoye of the defunct Psquare music group, who now goes by the stage name Mr P, has spoken on Cynthia Morgan’s confession.
Peter revealed how Cynthia rejected his contract and this revelation came after Cythian narrated how she “lost everything” to his elder brother and CEO of Northside Records, Jude Okoye.
On Saturday, 23 May 2020, Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan had an Instagram Live chat with the No. 1 advocate of her comeback, Sandra Ogbebor.
During the chat, Cynthia talked about how the process of exiting Northside Entertainment led to the change of her name and then to a long battle with depression and more.
Since then, she has been the No. 1 trending topic on the Twitter NG community.
Ogbebor has taken it upon herself to restart Morgan’s career and has even opened a GoFundMe account for the cause.
Cynthia Morgan also revealed that she lost her stage name, Instagram account, royalty, and VEVO account due to the contract she signed with Jude Okoye.
Reacting to Cynthia’s revelations, Peter Okoye revealed on his Twitter handle why he decided to cut off the relationship he had with his elder brother, Jude Okoye, and his twin brother, Paul Okoye, three years ago.
He said he took the decision because he wanted to be free.
Read Peter’s tweet below:
“My dear C Morgan, The decision I made 3yrs ago was never about fame, money or power! It was for my FREEDOM!
“Sad you rejected the contract I gave u. Just because they made you see me like the bad egg. I pray you understand that God has a purpose for everything. Never give up
