Paul Okoye fires Davido for comment on people who attended his birthday

Paul Okoye has replied Davido after the Afrobeats superstar called people who attended the twins birthday separately ‘pussy’.

On Wednesday 18 November 2020, Nigerian singers Paul and Peter Okoye of the now-defunct P-Square group held their 39th birthdays in different locations.

The twins have not been on good terms for nearly three years after they went their separate ways dissolving their music group. Rumours about them having issues had begun since 2015 before their eventual split.

On the occasion of their birthdays, Peter Okoye had an indoor party. Meanwhile, Paul Okoye held a bigger party by a pool having fellow superstars; Yemi Alade and Harrysongz at the party. Also, his elder brother, Jude Okoye attended his party.

In response to the separate birthday parties, Afrobeats singer, Davido tweeted:

Y’all niggas that wen to Peter and Paul’s bday separately y’all pussy as fuck!! Them niggas is TWINS !! Not my business but Shit hurts I’m angry Walai

Paul Okoye took offence at Davido’s birthday statement and went on Instagram to reply him.  He wrote on his Insta Story:

“On what level and what audacity do you have to call my family and friends pussy…. bro, has it come to that? am highly disappointed with you … 

“You don’t have the right to insult my family and friends… That’s f*cked up. For your infor ….90% of those that came to mine still went to his …. Same the other way round. And I respect their decision.”
