Breaking! Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, tests positive for coronavirus

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has tested positive for the coronavirus, known as COVID-19 pandemic and is in self-isolation. 

The governor took to his Twitter handle to make this revelation on Monday, 30th March 2020.

Earlier, the governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, also revealed that he tested positive to the novel Coronavirus.

I just received my COVID-19 confirmation test result. It is POSITIVE. I am asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate, ” Governor Seyi tweets on the social media platform.

The continuous spread of the virus in Nigeria has become a thing of concern for the federal government hence the reason the president placed a curfew on the most affected states during his address to the nation on Sunday, 29th March 2020.
