'Once again I'm negative' - Davido announces after Chioma and Seyi Makinde test positive

People wondered why Davido got access to 31 kits which were claimed to be scarce. Others felt bad that Chioma had tested positive but wondered why she did not self-isolate after returning from the UK.

Shortly after, the dust settled and all went back to normal. Then Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde tested positive and everyone took up arms again.

Davido, after returning from abroad, had been in touch with the Governor but had tested positive. People wanted to know how while some joked that his blood could be key to solving the problem of the Coronavirus.

Now, the singer has tested negative to the virus again and took to Twitter to share the news with fans and well-wishers.

He wrote: “I did a second test for the covid19 virus again …. once again I’m Negative ….”

His fans congratulated him the comments section, continuing to joke about him being the cure for the Coronavirus.

Since it was first discovered in Wuhan, China, the Coronavirus has spread around the world with almost a million confirmed cases and over 40 thousand deaths.

Davido’s fiancee, Chioma is currently in isolation and receiving treatment for the virus. People are advised to stay at home and practice safety measures to protect themselves from Coronavirus.
