American actress and singer Olivia Rodrigo has become the first artist whose first two songs debuted in the top five on the Billboard charts.

No one in the eight-year history of the charts has had a better start than Olivia Rodrigo.

Olivia’s latest single, “Deja Vu,” debuts at No. 4 on 17 April on the Streaming Songs chart.

In its first full week of tracking between 2 April to 8 April, “Deja Vu” got over 20.3 million streams and this according to data provided by MRC, reports Billboard.

Rodrigo also broke a new record since music started streaming as her first two entries on the charts, ‘Driver’s License’ which dropped earlier this year, and ‘Deja Vu’ both found their way into the top five.

After “Drivers License” started at No. 1 earlier in the year, the emergence of “Deja Vu” in the top five means Olivia Rodrigo is the first-ever artist to debut their first two entries in the chart’s top five in Streaming Songs history.

Another female powerhouse in music, Lady Gaga, also had the previous best as her first two streaming song entries debuted at No. 9 and at the No. 1 spot.

This was in 2013 when the chart began and the songs that helped Gaga make history then were “Applause” and “Dope”.

At the same time, Olivia Rodrigo’s feat is impressive as she sets the pace to become the first artist in history whose two Hot 100 entries found their way to be in the first 10 after “Deja Vu” debuts at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100.
