Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has shared a thought-provoking post concerning the toil social media is having on real (life) relationships.

In the post, which she published on Instagram, Toyin expressed sadness over the social media-obsessed generation who seems to prefer likes and comments over bonding with people.  According to the actress, relationships are no longer meaningful and most people now live for the “gram”.

Toyin shared an eye-popping cartoon photo, where a man who was involved in an accident was more interested in updating his social media status than finding help. Abraham used the image to reinforce the message that people are now living for likes and comments as opposed to bonding with another human.

Her post left many of her followers thinking hard and most reflected this in their comments with many agreeing that the advent of social media is a major cause of depression and even betrayals as people fake a lot these days.
