Nollywood actress, Patience Oseni is dead

The actress who was famous for appearing on the popular TV show, ‘Super Story’ passed away on Monday, 17 February, in Cross River, Calabar.

Her death was announced by Nollywood actress, Ejiro Okurame via an Instagram post. Ejiro shared a picture of Patience Oseni and captioned it: “You fought a good fight. God bless your soul as you meet with your Creator. Rest in Peace Legendary MA Patience Oseni.”

Her daughter, Augusta Akomolafe, confirmed the news to the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas.

Helen Oseni will be remembered for her iconic movie roles. Originally from Ogun State, she started her acting career in 1995 with the movie, ‘Deadly Passion’.

She, however, earned prominence with her role as the wicked stepmother in the movie, ‘End of the Wicked’.

No one can forget how, during her role in the film, she grew a penis with which she sexually assaulted her daughter in law.

She went on to star in other movies including the very popular Wale Adenuga Production series, ‘Super Story’.
