Nigerians have reacted after human rights activist and journalist Omoyele Sowore raised an alarm over an alleged plot by the Nigerian Government to rearrest him amidst the coronavirus scare in the country.
“Following the revelation by SaharaReporters that the Chief of Staff to Buhari, Abba Kyari, contracted Coronavirus and subsequent revelations about the criminal conducts/negligence that has brought Nigeria to the nadir of this global pandemic, the Buhari regime today sent some high powered delegation to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria to help procure a detention order against me,” Sowere writes on his Facebook page.
According to him, the government plans to arrest him and infect him with the coronavirus. Nigerians have taken to the Twitter community to react differently to the post from the activist.
Whilst some of them are upset that he was pulling such stunt, others were sympathetic to the claims.
