Nigerian player Wilfred Ndidi says he's flattered by Man United transfer link

22-year-old Nigerian player Wilfred Ndidi has reacted to the Manchester United link in the 2019 summer transfer window.

Super Eagles and Leicester City combative midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has stated that he is ‘flattered’ by the reports linking him with a summer switch to Manchester United. Wilfred was on top of his game during the 2018-19 campaign, which got plenty of applause from fans and bookmakers.

Ndidi has been repeatedly linked with a switch away from the King Power Stadium, with clubs like United, Arsenal, and Liverpool queuing for his signature.

Ndidi stated:

“I am flattered when hearing such a thing,It is very good to hear about that interest from big clubs, but there is nothing on the ground so I won’t care about it. “I am focusing on AFCON with Nigeria now, and then pre-season with Leicester City. We have a great manager with ambition to compete with big clubs in the Premier League.”
