Nicki Minaj has finally spoken about the altercation she had with Cardi B at the New York Fashion Week (NYFW).

A few days ago, Cardi B walked up to Nicki at the NYFW with the intention to “have a talk with her”, as Cardi said. Matters slipped out of hand though, when Nicki’s security stopped her from getting to Nicki. She got angry and threw her shoe at Nicki who is reportedly not going to press charges.

Some videos from the altercation soon flooded the internet, watch them here.

Nicki Minaj has now spoken out about what she described as a mortifying and humiliating incident. She made her feelings known on her Queen radio. She said she was especially embarrassed because it took place in front of a “bunch of upper echelon”.

She also took care to clear the air. Cardi B released a statement shortly after the incident and accused Nicki of liking posts that questioned Cardi’s ability to take care of her daughter Kulture.

According to Nicki, I just want to let the world know that Onika Tanya Maraj would never, has never and will never speak ill of anyone’s child.

“I am not a clown. That’s clown shit.”
