Farmiga family

Nadia Farmiga was born in Clifton, New Jersey, in the United States of America. During World War II, her maternal grandparents were affected and fell in love while in a displaced person camp in Karlsfeld, Germany. Nadia’s father’s name was Mykhailo, aka Michael Farmiga, who was a Computer System Analyst and later turned into a landscaper. Her mother’s name is Lubomyra Farmiga, a former receptionist and a medical records manager at Whitehouse Station Family Medicine. Luba also worked as a bank officer at National Westminster Bank (1993-1995).

Michael and Luba relocated from Ukraine to Irvington, New Jersey, searching for a better life before the birth of their first daughter, Vera.
