Several international outlets confirmed that Nicki Minaj welcomed her baby with Kenneth ‘Zoo’ Petty on 30 September.
A few days later, the rapper’s mother, Carol Maraj, confirmed the news on Instagram.
“Thank you Lord for blessing my daughter, @nickiminaj with a beautiful bundle of joy,” Maraj wrote on Instagram.
She added: “You have always been a Blessing to myself and your family and now you have received one of the best Blessings from God.
“Children are a gift from the Lord. They are a reward from Him,” Pslams 127:3,’ she ended the post. ‘Let us rejoice!.”
Nicki Minaj has now taken to Instagram to thank Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie Harlow, Karol and everyone else who sent congratulatory messages after the birth of her child.
She also revealed that she gave birth to a boy in the beautiful caption of her post. She wrote: “Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time. It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
