Most populous county in Florida, Miami-Dade, proclaims April 10 as Sope Aluko day

Actress Sope Aluko, a Nigerian-born actress who starred in Hollywood movie Black Panther as Shaman has revealed that the Miami-Dade County has proclaimed that April 10 will henceforth be known as Sope Aluko Day.
The actress expressed her excitement on her Instagram page and to caption photos she writes:
“Soooo this just happened!!!!! I was awarded a #proclamation declaring today as #SopeAluko day in #miamidade by #countycommissioner@audreymedmonsonand Mayor @mayorgimenez Thank you @mistyxbrown for organizing this incredible honour!”

Miami-Dade County is the most populous county in Florida and the seventh-most populous county in the United States.
In Black Panther, Sope Aluko’s role Shaman was a powerful primal leader who calls upon nature spirits for aid or guidance.
