Missy Elliot and Justin Timberlake bag honorary doctorates from Berklee school of music

The pair were two of the cap and gown-clad recipients of degrees at Berklee College of Music’s commencement on Saturday.

Missy Elliott shared her excitement on Twitter, writing, “CREATE YOUR OWN LANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely Dr. MISSY ELLIOTT,” with a video of her dancing with her diploma. “Thank you for this Honorary Doctorate Degree I am SO HUMBLED.”
