Musician, Timi Dakolo, has some strong opinion on marriage and relationships
The singer shared his perspective in a short Instagram post, which he prefixed with “The way people are making divorce look like something cool…”
The Voice Nigeria winning judge wondered why anyone would take the big leap if they “weren’t sure” and said not to “give love a bad name.” He seemed to accuse the “shallow and impatience generation” to be the guilty party. One can only hazard what demographic he assigned to that generation.
“Fix yourself,” he advises, “marriage is for two complete adults. Don’t enter into it with your incomplete self… marriage will not make an incomplete person complete,” he added.
“You should come into it prepared and complete… But what do I know? Am I not just a musician,” the “Iyawo mi” singer rhetorically concluded.
