Mariah Carey is reportedly being sued by one of her closest friends and confidantes.
The singer’s former manager and close confidant, Stella Stolper, has allegedly filed paperwork for a lawsuit against Mariah over breach of contract, the TMZ reports.
Stella will also fight to prove a violation of the US Civil Rights Act, a Violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act.
The website claims a huge amount of money is being sought for missed payments as well as the aforementioned breaches. Stolper claims Mariah didn’t pay her, but it involves more than money. It is expected that more details will follow shortly.

The singer hired Stella, a former stand-up comedian, in 2013 as part of a huge team shake-up.
They were considered inseparable for around two years but Mariah and Stolper (nee Bulochnikov) reportedly parted ways around a year ago. Stella was Mariah’s go-to person during her turbulent engagement with James Packer.
