However, firing Mourinho would come at a cost for Manchester United.

According to The Sun, if Mourinho were to be fired, he would be entitled to a full year of his salary.

This means that Manchester United would have to pay Mourinho off with £12m if they made such a deal

The Portuguese signed a new contract with Manchester united, one that lasts till 2020.
