Man Faints While Listening To Reading Of Rob Doyle’s Book.

The Irishman, Rob Doyle, who is 34 years old had reacted to the news that the man that was carried out from among the audience had fainted while he read an explicit sex scene from his book This Is The Ritual by saying: ‘I was quite proud actually, it is good to have an impact’.

He admitted that he was very proud of the effect his book had because today it was increasingly difficult to surprise people and that is what all works of fiction should aim for, he was quoted as saying: ‘It is certainly harder to shock people these days. I can turn on my phone and find any kind of horrible torture. Because of certain ideological shifts, the mainstream has become so liberated and uninhibited that the only thing that shocks people now is a kind of conservativeness.’

The writer told interviewers that he never felt constrained to stay within the societal idea of life, which is why he does not write about mundane themes, instead choosing to explore every avenue possible. He fancies themes like abyss, infinity and the cosmos that seems limitless.
