Man City scout under investigation for 'racial profiling'

Dean Ramsdale, a youth scout for Manchester City, is said to have referred to black players as ‘BBQs’, meaning ‘big, black and quick’ and is now under investigation.

The incident reportedly took place at a meeting about players in June.

One of the attendees was angered and decided to write a formal letter complaining to the club about “racial profiling”.

The Mirror reports that in addition to the investigation, City has spoken to Ramsdale about his language and sent out an apology letter.
