Madrid frustrated they missed out on Mbappe - Monaco Vice-president

Vadim Vasilyev Vice-president of Monaco has revealed that Florentino Perez still blames him for Madrid losing out on Mbappe.

The 19 year old, who was sensational at the World Cup joined PSG on an initial loan that has since become a permanent €180 million (£159m/$213m) agreement.

The France international however looked set to join Madrid before joining PSG in the summer of 2017 with Monaco reported to have accepted a huge offer for the superstar.

Vasilyev reveals that Florentino Perez still blames him every time the two meet for not selling him Mbappe:

“These two clubs are friends. I have spoken with [Real president] Florentino Perez and every time he sees me he always blames me for not selling him Kylian Mbappe.” He told RMC sport.
