Madrid defender, Varane calls Mbappe "young alien"

Real Madrid defender Varane has described his French teammate as a young alien from a world where everything goes faster.

When asked what it was like playing alongside the young player of the year, here’s what Varane told L’Equipe: 

“I think this is the first time I have met a young alien.

“Normally I meet extraterrestrials when they are 25, 30 years old. At the World Cup, I met one under the age of 20.

“With him, everything goes faster. When I talk tactically with him before the matches, I do not have time to finish my sentences before he has already understood and assimilated what I’m saying.”

Mbappe is widely believed by many to be the next best thing in football. Many even say that in a few years the PSG star will dominate the world of football if he continues in such excellent form.
