Last night, Kanye West and Kid Cudi used the floating glass box stage during their weekend performance for Kids See Ghosts (a collaborative project of Kanye West and Kid Cudi) and Lorde was not having it.
In a post on her Instagram Story, Lorde shared an image of herself performing in front of a very similar floating stage at Coachella 2017 with the caption: “I’m proud of the work I do, and it’s flattering when other artists feel inspired by it, to the extent that they choose to try it on themselves. But don’t steal, not from women or anyone else, not in 2018 or ever.”
