It appears Asgard’s most mischievous prince, Loki, could be getting his own TV series.

According to Variety, Disney is preparing to launch the series on its upcoming streaming service. Each season is expected to have between six and eight episodes.

The story lines are reportedly still being put together but Disney will be focusing on characters that served as second tier characters in the other productions. Variety also reports that some of the actors who played the characters in the films could come back for the series but nothing has been confirmed yet.

This could be an interesting development. As for Loki, it would be interesting to see into his mind. Loki is the biological son of super villain, King Laufey of the Frost Giants in Jotunheim, but was raised in Asgard as Odin’s son, so that would be an interesting place to start. Plus, he’s the God of Mischief, so he could go on some Mischief filled journey all over the universe. Either way, it’ll definitely be interesting.

Scarlet Witch, on the other hand, is a mysterious character. Disney could take us through Wanda Maximoff’s bleak Sokovian childhood in Eastern Europe with her twin brother Pietro a.k.a Quicksilver, spent undergoing HYDRA’s superpower experiments pre-Age of Ultron.

Or we could unpack their family tree. Although Maximoff was raised by adoptive Romani parents, she’s the daughter of supervillain Magneto. There’s plenty of drama there.
