Listen To Nasty C's unbelievable refix of Runtown's "Mad Over You"

For a little part of 2016 and most of 2017, Runtown‘s monster hit. “Mad Over You” was virtually inescapable – and for good reason too.
Even Runtown’s follow-up single “For Life” found him trying (and failing) to recapture what made his breakout hit so special.
The success of “Mad Over You” unsurprisingly led everyone and their grandmothers to make covers and refixes that never quite matched up to the original – well, until last week that is.
A couple days ago, 20-year-old South African rapper, Nasty C, stormed the Coke Studio South Africa stage with a refix of “Mad Over You” that not only matched the original but surpassed it – with Runtown watching him, no less.
Everything about Nasty C’s performance was brilliant – from his stellar second verse right down to the gifted backup singers. The South African rapper is no stranger to being the best in a room: just three months ago, he completely stole the show on Major Lazer’s “Particula”.
